Packaging - Framed or Unframed

Frame your canvas traditionally or leave it as a canvas wrap?

The choice is yours depending on your taste and existing interior. This decision may determine the way in which you receive your canvas.

If you wish to have your canvas traditionally set inside an external picture frame, then you will need to order 'canvas only' to receive your artwork rolled up in a postal tube.

You should also choose this option if you wish to have your own framer stretch the canvas as we do, around a timber frame (canvas wrap). These reproductions are produced with an extra 45mm band of colour, to stretch around the 38mm stretcher bar, so you are not cropping off any of the image. The finished piece will sit off the wall around 40mm.

Around 95% of all editions sold are hung as a canvas wrap with no additional framing required.

If you have decided to go for a canvas wrap, you can choose to have your artwork delivered to your door - ready to hang. The advantage of receiving your piece already stretched is obvious: you unpack it and it is ready to hang on the wall.

The advantages of receiving your piece as canvas only in a postage tube are significant savings on postage as well as receiving your edition within a few business days.

Glass Editions only come ready to hang and your package will include the easy mounting hardware.
