Create Something Truly Personal
Transform a favourite beach, cherished memory or special place into a one-of-a-kind original painting created exclusively for your home. Whether it's a view from your local shoreline, a place you've travelled to, or a landscape that holds special meaning, Scott will work with you to create a custom artwork tailored to your space, style and vision.
Over the past 25 years, Scott has completed more than 37 commissioned paintings for private collectors, businesses and organisations, including Sheldon College and Mount Thompson Memorial Gardens.
In many ways, Scott isn't really painting beaches. He's painting a state of being. His goal is to capture not only what a place looks like, but how it feels — the calm, perspective, freedom and memories that make it special to you.
The process is simple, enjoyable and obligation-free. Once the concept and design are approved, your painting is brought to life in Scott's Queensland studio and delivered ready to enjoy for years to come.

Dr Lyn Bishop – Founder and Principal/CEO of Sheldon College
"Scott Christensen comes with my highest recommendation, not only as an outstanding artist and a leader in his field, but also as a complete professional in every sense of the word. So impressed was I with Scott’s work that I commissioned him to do all of the artwork for our new LINQ Precinct and Administration Building at Sheldon College. From there we engaged Scott to teach the students through our professional incursion program and through our Australian School of the Arts program. His artistic work has greatly enhanced our new state-of-the-art facilities, and is always a source of animated discussion as to its alluring beauty and pure aesthetics."

John Calleija - Calleija Jewellers
"This painting just really captures the whole essence of the coastal area and its relaxed spirit. We’ve put it up in our beach house at Byron Bay and it just embodies the spirit of Byron so beautifully. It’s a gorgeous painting to look at and we couldn’t resist buying it. I make and design jewellery and so we’re both in the art field, but what he does is incredible. Scott’s got a real creative gift and I’m so glad he’s pursuing it. I also like the fact that you could actually be talking to the artist, it was so nice to have actually met him and see all his work. He’s a really talented emerging artist to watch and he’s got a great future. We thought his work was under priced."
Marcus Arber – Co-Owner - Heisig Constructions
"I first met Scott nearly 10 years ago. Having been a local SE Qlder all my life, his artwork reminded me of holidays, those first steps on the beach in the morning and so many family memories in the ocean. I became a instant fan and have continued to follow Scott's work ever since now owning many of his his originals and print pieces. In recent years, I have got the chance to have many a chat to Scott and always love it when his van, surf boards piled in the back with his artwork, arrives in my driveway to deliver me another memory to hang on the wall! …An round great family bloke and magnificent artist. I look forward to one day working towards a commission piece from Scott for my collection!"

Troy Cassar-Daley - Country music singer - 4 ARIA’s + 36 Golden Guitar Awards
"My wife was introduced to Scott’s work while filming an episode for The Great South East (Now called Great Day Out on Chanel 7) and we bought 2 pieces. His lovely family delivered them to our home. I have followed Scott’s work ever since and am amazed how he creates his beautiful pieces... like me , Scott is a family man and has managed to successfully build a career out of his artistic talents and developed a loyal following of fans. He is truly an asset to the tapestry of the home-grown Queensland art scene who takes pride in being local. The key words I’d use to describe his work are soulful and captivating, because to me his paintings capture a soft breeze blowing through a pandanus tree …And the smell of the ocean. Not many people can do that with their art, I’m a big fan."

Mark Lutz - Owner of Arthouse Reproductions Bowen Hills, Brisbane
"Scott has been working with us here at Art House Reproductions for 15 years now. We copy his original art for him and create some special products that he offers his clients. I enjoy working with Scott because he has a passion for his craft and a desire to produce the highest quality artwork that is instantly recognisable as the Scott Christensen style. I believe he is someone you will have pleasure doing business with as he approaches his business the same way as his art; with skill and professionalism."
