Meet Scott Christensen.
Scott Christensen is an Australian coastal artist inspired by the beauty, freedom and possibility found in nature.
For more than two decades, Scott has painted the beaches, bays and headlands that have shaped his life, creating artworks that capture not only what these places look like, but how they feel. Moments of calm. Wonder. Perspective. The sense that anything is possible.
Since painting full-time in 2001, Scott has sold more than 350 original paintings and over 4,500 canvas editions to collectors throughout Australia and internationally.
Working from his Queensland studio, Scott continues to create original paintings, limited-edition canvas artworks and custom commissions designed to bring the coast home.
"Scott Christensen comes with my highest recommendation, not only as an outstanding artist and a leader in his field, but also as a complete professional in every sense of the word. So impressed was I with Scott’s work that I commissioned him to do all of the artwork for our new LINQ Precinct and Administration Building at Sheldon College. From there we engaged Scott to teach the students through our professional incursion program and through our Australian School of the Arts program. His artistic work has greatly enhanced our new state-of-the-art facilities, and is always a source of animated discussion as to its alluring beauty and pure aesthetics."
